Deputy Manager – Contact Centre



We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated deputy to support the manager in the daily operation of the business. The Floating support service consists of a Supervised Contact Centre, Family Aid Service and Home Care Support.


Our Family Contact Centre offers a safe and effective alternative for social workers, parents and children in a stimulating environment. Our fully trained and experienced staff provide monitoring and support services during visits to make family time together as stress-free as possible. The centre is open 7 days a week, 365 days of the year so families can be together whenever suits them best.


Our Domicilary Care Service provides personal care and support to vulnerable individuals within their homes and the community - providing assistance with personal hygiene, domestic tasks and accompanying to social activities.


To be successful you will have a desire and ability to work with families and children and must be able to demonstrate an understanding and empathy as to the reasons why some families may find themselves in these situations. Experience of working with families and children is essential but full training will alos be given. You must also have a desire to work with vulnerable individuals within their own homes and the community.


You must hold a full and clean UK driving licence.


The role will involve:

-To deputise in the Manager's absence

-Duties will include supporting the manager in the daily operation of the business, having a clear insight of the plan for each individual service user and liaising with other professionals involved with the service users. Ensuring that service diaries are effective and all orders can be facilitated.-Support the manager in directing a diverse staff team, to include staff training, staff supervisions and ensuring new employees are selected in line with current guidelines

-To be committed to working across the range of Floating Support Services which includes but is not limited to: Supervised Contact, Family Aid Support & Home Care



-Level 3 Diploma in Children & Young People Workforce

-Supervision Training

-ICT Skills

-Driving License


The salary is negotiable dependant on experience and qualifications.
