An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated, enthusiastic and committed individual to join a friendly and growing organisation that is leading the way in providing innovative quality care and support.

 

We are looking for a QUALIFIED painter and decorator to work across our sites where required. The position is full time (40 hours per week), and we would require you to be flexible and be available over weekends if needed. You will need to have your own transport in order to travel between sites.

 

Essential Requirements:

 

  • Driving license and own transport required
  • Flexibility to work across units and to work hours when required (this may include evening and weekend work)
  • A Painting & Decorating qualification
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety Issues
  • Ability to attend work punctually & reliably
  • Ability to follow schedules and produce good quality work
  • Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Ability to work under own initiative
  • Ability to climb ladders, stepladders and any other equipment necessary to fulfil role
  • Previous experience in all aspects of painting & decorating

 

Desirable requirements:

  • Knowledge of the care industry
  • Empathy towards people in care
  • Any other manual skills may benefit you in the role e.g. plastering/joinery

 

The starting salary is negotiable and dependant on experience.
